Campus Pride Index – National listing of LGBTQ+ friendly colleges and universities. In development since 2001, the LGBTQ-Friendly Campus Pride Index is in response to the increasing demand for tools and resources to support campuses in assessing LGBTQ-friendly policies, programs and practices. The only one of its kind, the index is a valuable national assessment tool for campuses looking for ways to improve their LGBTQ campus life.

Community College of Rhode IslandTriangle Alliance – 401-455-6104 – The Triangle Alliance is an organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning students and staff as well as allies. The group, which aims to create a safe, affirming space for people to talk about issues of gender and sexual orientation on and off campus, will schedule meeting dates and times, soon. Whatever campus you are on, you are welcome to attend a meeting on the Flanagan campus.
Gender Equity Initiative – The Gender Equity Initiative is a collaboration of CCRI staff, faculty and students concerned about issues of equity affecting our college community. These issues include LGBTQ identity, intimate partner violence, sexual harassment, sexual assault, and gender-based discrimination.

Providence CollegeSHEPARD – ​​401-865-2191 – SHEPARD is a support group for all members of the LGBTQQIAA* community who choose to become involved. The name is an acronym that stands for Stopping Homophobia, Eliminating Prejudice and Restoring Dignity. Roger Williams UniversityQueer and Trans Student Initiatives – At Roger Williams, we work with and support students to raise awareness and acceptance of the various communities that make up our larger queer and trans community (for example; lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual, pansexual, or questioning communities). Through the Intercultural Center (IC) we offer a direct resource area for all members of the queer and trans communities and their allies. The office is a key component in implementing RWU’s examination of our global society.

Queer and Trans Resource and Advocacy Center – The Queer and Trans Resource and Advocacy Center (QTRAC) is located in the heart of RWU’s campus, adjacent to the 9, 10, 11 Tower of Maple Hall. The QTRAC houses our LGBTQIAP+ student organization, the Sexuality and Gender Alliance (SAGA), our student-led Trans Affinity Group (TAG), and two clubs that are committed to various issues facing womyn in the world, Feminists United and the Women’s Collective.

The Kinship Collective – This mentor program matches undergraduate students with members of our faculty and staff who identify as queer or trans people. We believe in the power of forming connections with individuals who have a shared or similar identity as one that is salient to us, particularly in developing a sense of belonging within a new community.

Bryant UniversityPride Center – (401) 232-6854 – As part of the PwC Center for Diversity and Inclusion, the Pride Center is open to individuals of all identities to explore issues relating to gender and sexuality.
